of the regularly sunny weather to indulge in some snowy antics, there
is plenty to do in the winter around Orange County. Check out a few suggestions
provided by Anaheim Regional Medical Center below!
Snow Day in Fullerton – January 30th
Though Orange County isn’t known for its snow flurries, this January
you can still enjoy a winter wonderland during the annual Snow Day in
Fullerton. Tons of frosty snow is delivered to the Brea Dam Park, creating
the perfect space for sledding, snowball fights, snowmen, and snow angels.
Make sure to wrap up your youngsters in warm clothes, including scarves,
hats, and gloves so they can enjoy the snow without getting too chilly.
There are three 75-foot sled runs, a special sled run for younger children,
crafts and games, a family campfire, and much more.
There is limited space for the snow day (900 people), so make sure you
register early if you want to claim a spot! You can register through the
park’s class sign up online or by calling the Parks and Recreation Department at (714) 738-6575.
Registration costs $12 per person for Fullerton residents and $15 for non-residents.
Day of the event admission increases to $15 for residents and $18 for
non-residents. Children under two years of age get in free!
