Meet the Therapists Boguslawa (Bo) Syrotiak, DOR, OTR/L, MA, MS Director of Rehabilitation Services Bo holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics from Europe University Viadrina, Frankfurt/Oder, Germany. She also holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from California State University Dominguez Hills. In addition to being the Director of the Rehabilitation Services at AHMC ARMC, she is a practicing clinician in the field of Occupational Therapy. Outpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy Mae Kusomoto, OTR/L Mae graduated from USC and has been working in Outpatient Occupational Therapy for 15+ years. Mae is Hand Therapy Certified. Physical Therapy Teri Wu, PT Teri graduated from Loma Linda University and has 22 years of experience in Acute Inpatient and Outpatient Physical Therapy. Lance Inouye, DPT Lance graduated from Chapman University in 2007. He has 8 years of experience in Acute Inpatient, Outpatient, and Home Health Physical Therapy Susan Marsolino, PTA Susan graduated from Cerritos College in 1995. She has worked in Outpatient Physician Therapy for 20 years. She also has experience in both acute care and inpatient acute rehab. Speech-Language Pathology Bella Panchal, Au.D, MS, CCC-SLP/A Dr. Panchal is licensed in both speech and hearing. She received her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology in 1988 from the University of Brooklyn, New York. She received her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida in 2009. Kristine Tran, CF-SLP Kristine graduated from Chapman University with her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in June 2016. She is currently participating in her Clinical Fellowship Year and plans to continue working in acute care. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and diagnoses and has had experience from NICU, pediatrics, adults, to geriatrics. Rachelle Moore, CCC-SLP Rachelle graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with an M.Ed in Speech-Language Pathology. Rachelle has been practicing over 25 years in acute care settings, home health, sub-acute, and acute inpatient rehab. Inpatient Acute Care Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy Kat Milo, OTR/L Kat graduated from Texas Woman’s University with her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in December 2016. Before this Kat has been working as an OT Assistant (graduate of Loma Linda University) for the past 20 years with experience working in SNFs, Inpatient Acute Care, Acute Rehab, and Ergonomics. Physical Therapy Rebecca Hansen, PT, C.E.A.S. Rebecca graduated from Cal State University, Long Beach, with a B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1989. She has 26 years of experience in acute care, three years of outpatient and acute rehab as well as two years of SNF registry experience. Rebecca is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (C.E.A.S.). Amanda Bruce, PT Amanda graduated with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences. She has seven years of experience in acute inpatient care. Amanda is one of the leading therapists working with patients who had undergone elective joint replacements, spinal surgeries, etc. Chuck Ishii, PT Chuck is a graduate from Chapman University. He has 20 years of experience in both outpatient and inpatient physical therapy settings. Chuck demonstrates excellence working in versatile settings such intensive critical care unit, pulmonary-cardiovascular unit, medical surgery unit, etc. Hazel Rodriguez, PT Hazel graduated with a B.S. in Physical Therapy from University of the Philippines in 2007. She has about six years of experience working with geriatric population. Hazel has excellent ability to communicate and progress patients towards goals. Hazel is also APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor Sharon Gutierrez, PTA Sharon has over 25 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistance in inpatient acute care, some experience in outpatient care and SNF rehabilitation. Sharon has been recognized for her excellent virtues such as patience and communication abilities while working with diverse patients. Kevin Duffy, PTA Kevin started his career in Physical Therapy back when he was serving in the United States Navy. He served as a Combat Medic and Hospital Corpsman for Marine Corps Navy. He honed his skills in the outpatient Physical Therapy from 1980-2002. Starting in 2002 till the present day he has been working in inpatient acute care. Kevin has been dedicated to AHMC ARMC since 1996.
